There are only four days left to take advantage of The Friends of the Flint Public Library semiannual book sale. Sale hours for the remaining days are as follows: Wednesday, October 27, and Thursday, October 28, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, October 29, the sale will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 3:oo p.m. Saturday, October 30, the sale will open at 10:oo a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. Prices for books are $1 for hard cover, and $0.50 for paperback. Friday, all books will be on sale for half the normal price. Saturday is bag day, when all the books you can fit in a grocery sack will cost only $4.00. Please note that specially priced books, including many rare items, are not offered at the sale price on Friday or Saturday. Come early, come often, and fill your shelves with plenty of great books to last you through the winter. We also have many VCR tapes, DVDs, and other multimedia items available at bargain prices. While you are there, don’t forget that you can become a friend of the library with yearly memberships beginning at only $10. Just ask anyone working at the sale for a membership application.
